I was born in the small village of Questa, situated in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains of Northern New Mexico, and started weaving in 2002 under the direction of my mother, Eva Rael Gallegos who learned from her mother, Estrella Quintana Rael. I currently reside in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
